Your QR content
Our generator computes the QR code in your browser. It uses your text or URL, mode choice and result only in temporary browser memory. Our app does not send the content to a server, visit a linked website or save a history.
Our code does not put your input or result in cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, the page URL, request data, application logs, analytics, feedback context or advertising targeting. We have no server copy to retrieve. Please do not use the tool for secrets or sensitive personal information.
Clear removes the generator’s active input, result and download references; reloading resets its state. Browser features such as autofill and back/forward restoration may behave independently. Clear is not a guarantee that your browser has erased every trace.
A downloaded PNG or SVG deliberately contains your encoded content. Anyone who can scan the file can read it. Downloads remain on your device until you remove them, and sharing or printing them puts the content in other people’s hands.
When you choose Copy Image in a supported browser, we write the QR image as a PNG to your operating system’s clipboard. We do not read the clipboard. The image contains your encoded content; apps you paste it into, clipboard history or device-sync features may retain or share it according to your device settings. Clear does not erase your clipboard.
Optional feedback
When you choose Give feedback, we load a Tally form to collect your message and optional category and email address. We send only fixed site, page, component, language, release and environment identifiers. We do not attach your QR input or output or page query string. Please leave out secrets and sensitive personal information.
We use feedback to improve the site and may use your optional email only for follow-up about your message. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and fixing product problems. Feedback is not a marketing subscription.
Tally receives your message and ordinary connection information, including your IP address. See Tally’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We remove the optional contact field and minimise personal details before sending feedback to OpenAI’s Codex for AI-assisted analysis. This processing uses external services and does not happen entirely on your device. International processing and provider recovery periods may apply; see OpenAI’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Access is limited to the operator and authorised processing. We may keep restricted backups of feedback and review progress in Google Drive; see Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We review raw feedback and its backups for deletion after 90 days. Recovery periods may apply. We retain minimised improvement themes only while needed, and a person decides what to change. AI analysis does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Use the contact details below or on Publisher & contact for a privacy request.
Hosting and search information
Cloudflare delivers the site and receives ordinary connection and request information, such as IP address, requested public page, browser information and request time. QR input is not part of our hosting requests. We use hosting information to deliver and secure the site, based on our legitimate interest in reliable operation.
Cloudflare handles service and security information under its privacy policy. Processing may occur outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Its Data Processing Addendum describes processor obligations and international transfer safeguards. We have not established a single retention period for all of its connection and security information.
This site has no visitor analytics, session replay or generation/download tracking. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools can provide aggregate search impressions and clicks. They do not add a visitor analytics script or receive QR input from our code.
Advertising and Google code
Advertising is currently disabled. This build loads no Google advertising or advertising-consent scripts. The generator sets no cookies. Optional feedback has the separate external processing described above.
The site is prepared for Google AdSense after site approval and checks of the required regional consent, refusal and withdrawal choices. The first public review phase has no active advertisements. This information and the available privacy choices must reflect the configuration before advertising is enabled.
When advertising code runs on this page, it can technically access the page’s content, including input fields and keyboard interaction. Our generator’s local processing cannot prevent access by scripts on the same page. We do not supply QR content for targeting. An observed network check cannot guarantee that external code will never read or transmit a value.
Contact and your rights
If you email privacy@guansoft.dev, we use your sender details and message to respond, investigate a correction or meet a legal obligation. Email providers process the message to deliver and store it. Please leave out secrets and sensitive personal information.
We keep correspondence only while needed for the enquiry, resulting correction or legal obligation, then remove it when no longer needed. Provider retention and recovery copies may also apply.
Where the GDPR applies, you may ask for access, correction, erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where its conditions are met. Rights have legal limits. Applicable requests are normally answered within one month; we explain a permitted extension within that month and may need information to verify identity. You may complain to your competent data protection authority, including the Dutch Data Protection Authority, without contacting us first. See the GDPR.
